RECRUITMENT
Opportunity for Wisdom
Wisdom for Culture
Sigma Lambda Beta, a Latino-based fraternity dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, scholarship, brotherhood and community service. We have a tradition of being one of the most active fraternities with strong ties to the community around us. We are best represented by strong leaders who are paving their way into successful futures through volunteering, social activities, and academic excellence. We are looking for an individual who can excel not only in the classroom but through our work outside of it. Who will not shy away from work and are ready to tackle the challenges presented to them. Who stay up-to-date with current issues and are not afraid to speak their mind. We seek forward-thinking individuals who will stay committed to the organization and take the steps to improve it. Joining us would mean not only having access to various resources and opportunities but also forging long-lasting memories and friendships. Whether you're a freshman looking to build long-lasting connections or a senior wanting to finish college with a bang, OU Betas has a place for everyone.

WHY SLB?
BROTHERHOOD
NETWORKING AND PROFESSIONALISM

We are the largest and fastest growing Latino-Based Fraternity in the nation for a reason. With over 130 Established Undergraduate Chapters, 15 Colonies, 19 Alumni Networks, and 10 Alumni Associations, we are easily in every major city in the United States. We pride ourselves on having brothers from different backgrounds with different professions. Wherever you set your goals to be, there will always be a hand ready to help you reach them.
SCHOLARSHIP
EDUCATION
Academics is our priority when attending the University and the Eta Gamma chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta backs this. With much of our undergraduate and recently graduated brothers being STEM oriented, we understand the competitiveness of the field. We have brothers currently in medical school, graduate programs, and in the field. We take the extra steps to ensure our members excel in the classroom and in the work force.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
OUR HOMES AND OUR FUTURE
Community Service is not only picking up trash in the park. As leaders of the community, we make strides to consistently contribute back. Our volunteerism includes, but is not limited to, mentorship of the youth, feeding the homeless and providing translation services at local clinics. We are always looking for new ways to tackle the issues facing our society.
CULTURAL AWARENESS
OUR ROOTS
The hate and violence that resonates throughout our country stems from ignorance and misinformation. We aim to combat this through educating others and advocating for our communities. We regularly attend events and inform ourselves of other cultures and issues outside our own. After all, our mission is to nurture and further a dynamic, values-based environment which utilizes our historically Latino based fraternity as a catalyst to better serve the needs and wants of all people.
CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT
CIVI ET REIPUBLICAE
We are always improving our campus to the best it can be. Many of our members are not only connected to the fraternity but stay involved throughout the University. From President's Community Scholars to the Hispanic American Student Association, our members manage their time for these commitments. But most importantly, we ensure our members are taking all steps to graduate!

Sigma Lambda Beta is a historically Latino-based Fraternity, but over the years we have developed into one of the most culturally diverse organizations from coast to coast. With a vast amount of our members being first-generation college students, we consider this brotherhood as our home away from home. Here at Eta Gamma we are one of the largest chapter in the nation. With over 120 collegiate entities spanning across 30 states and a newly created alumni network in the United Kingdom, we take pride in our membership and are constantly giving back to our community on a local and national level.
